| The engine of a cement
train was derailed at a siding near New Brighton, Port Elizabeth
today. The engine, used by a cement company to shunt trucks, ran through the reinforced concrete wall and buffer at the end of the line, spilling coal. A group of nonwhite women soon started collecting the coal. The driver was not hurt. |
