| While going through some files that
Gilbert Jessop had lent me I came across
this - what
immediately caught my eye was the name,
Dick Gillatt - it was an article that
appeared in the August 1989 issue of
Allied in-house magazine, Broadcast, and
was titled 'Locomotives, A Wonderful
Winter's Week'. I e-mailed Dick
and sure enough, apart from a slight
error in the spelling of his surname, it
was him, so I thought it would be great
to put this article on the site, with
his permission. For the sake of
space and those with dial-up, I have put
the text in as normal text, otherwise
the pages would take too long to load,
